Meet Dayna!

Hi there! I am the owner and lead designer of Creative Kitchen and Bath, also known as CKB Design and Remodel. I love working with clients to achieve their dream projects and especially love seeing their faces when they get to enjoy their new beautiful spaces.

I’ve always dreamed of having a boutique store to sell the type of decor and furniture I love. That’s where the idea to expand CKB Design and Remodel came from. CKB Home Interiors is it’s “sister store” and located right inside the design showroom of Creative Kitchen and Bath. It has been so much fun morphing and expanding our current design showroom to include furniture and decor!

A little more about me…..

I’ve got two kiddos, who keep me on my toes at ALL times, a big and geriatric golden retriever and a super cuddly kitten we rescued right from our own showroom’s storage shed.

I LOVE to read, no specific genre, just anything that LOOKS interesting. I usually don’t read the blurbs on the back of the book but I let the front cover draw me in! So, it has to have an interesting cover picture or artwork.

I have a passion for travel, even though I have not nearly done enough, but hope to be doing more soon.

Music drives me. It’s my peace. It’s my motivator. It’s my boost of confidence. It’s my memories. Without music I feel like life would be so boring! On the flip side of that.. I cannot sing.. but I do it anyway!

I moved to NC from Connecticut while taking time off from college studying criminal justice. The field just wasn’t cutting it for me so I took some classes at a local community college for interior design. The rest is history. It changed my life! I love design and always have. And of course, it’s in my family. My father started his own business (the original Creative Kitchen and Bath!) when I was a child.
